Reddit is making another move to fit more naturally into the advertising tools marketers already use. This development comes as Reddit introduces Reddit Ads API partners to expand its capabilities in the advertising space.
The company has expanded its Reddit Ads API partner ecosystem with integrations for Skai and Innovid, giving advertisers direct access to Reddit campaign activation and measurement through the two advertising technology platforms.
The update was announced on August 11, 2026. Reddit says the idea is fairly straightforward: advertisers shouldn’t have to rebuild their workflow just because they want to add Reddit to the media mix.
Reddit Ads Are Moving Closer to Existing Marketing Workflows
For larger advertisers, adding a new social platform isn’t always as simple as opening another Ads Manager account.
Campaign teams may already be working across search, social, retail media, connected TV and other digital channels. Every additional dashboard creates another place to set campaigns, pull reports, manage budgets and compare results.
The Skai and Innovid integrations are designed to remove some of that friction. Advertisers using either platform can bring Reddit campaigns into tools and processes they’re already using for cross-channel advertising rather than treating Reddit as a completely separate operation.
That sounds like a fairly technical backend change. For marketers, though, convenience matters. A platform that’s easier to buy through can be easier to include in the media plan in the first place.
Skai and Innovid Bring Reddit Into the Cross-Channel Mix
Skai and Innovid already help advertisers handle campaigns across multiple publishers, advertising networks and digital channels.
Adding Reddit gives their users another place to activate campaigns without necessarily adding another isolated workflow.
Reddit says advertisers will be able to use these integrations to activate and measure campaigns while maintaining more consistent operations across channels. The company specifically pointed to reduced operational complexity and easier scaling as reasons behind the partnerships.
There is also a broader strategy here. Reddit isn’t only improving what advertisers can do inside Reddit Ads Manager. It’s making Reddit advertising available wherever marketers prefer to manage their media.
Reddit Keeps Building Out Its Advertising Partner Ecosystem
Skai and Innovid aren’t being positioned as one-off integrations.
Reddit describes the partnerships as part of a wider investment in an open advertising ecosystem powered by its Ads API. The company wants agencies and advertisers to have more flexibility in how they access, manage and scale campaigns on the platform.
Its stated priorities include making Reddit easier to access from existing marketing systems, reducing friction for teams handling multiple channels and expanding the number of ways advertisers can work with Reddit.
More partners are likely to follow. Reddit said it plans to continue expanding the ecosystem rather than treating the current lineup as finished.
Why Reddit Is Getting More Attention From Advertisers
The timing makes sense.
Reddit has become increasingly visible beyond its own app and website. Discussions from Reddit regularly appear in Google search results, while content from the platform is also being referenced by AI chatbots and other AI-powered discovery tools.
That matters because Reddit occupies an unusual position in the purchase journey. People frequently search Reddit for product experiences, recommendations, complaints and opinions that feel less polished than traditional marketing content.
Social Media Today noted that growing Google referrals and AI chatbot citations have contributed to increased advertiser interest in the platform.
Reddit’s challenge now is turning that attention into an advertising business that feels easy enough for marketers to use at scale.
Reddit Wants to Become Easier to Buy, Not Just Bigger
Plenty of advertising platforms compete by adding new ad formats. Reddit is also working on something less flashy: making the buying process less annoying.
That’s potentially important.
A media buyer managing campaigns across several platforms may be more willing to test Reddit if it appears alongside channels already available inside Skai or Innovid. The barrier isn’t necessarily whether Reddit has an audience. Sometimes it’s whether another platform is worth adding to an already complicated campaign setup.
By pushing deeper into third-party ad technology platforms, Reddit can make experimentation easier without requiring advertisers to completely change how they work.
What the New Reddit Ad Partnerships Mean for Marketers
For marketers already using Skai or Innovid, the practical benefit is access.
Reddit can become another channel inside a wider advertising strategy instead of something managed entirely on its own. Campaign activation, measurement and cross-platform management can sit closer together.
For Reddit, the advantage is just as obvious. Every integration creates another route for advertising budgets to reach the platform.
And as Reddit becomes more visible in search, AI discovery and product research, making its ad inventory easier to access could turn that growing influence into something much more valuable: repeat advertiser spending.
